New suppliers, custom coffee & a car show

Oh & a real good AI tip

TL:DR

  • Shaka wear is now a supplier (& FC is recommended!!!)

  • How I’m using AI to improve the pricing calculator

  • Sick event with the Low Folk Car Club

  • Custom coffee

Real mixed bag in this one.

WAIT SHAKAWEAR??????

Letsss goooo

Shakawear is one of the biggest names in the blank garment world in the USA so when the chance came up to get them as a supplier we were stoked.

Always cool to be recommended!

ATM in AU there’s the Max heavyweight range available, you can see the full range from the AU distributor Prime Example here. You won’t be disappointed.

All the options are 255gsm, have an American streetwear style/fit and because they’re locally stoked we can offer them with no minimums and still at wholesale rates.

On a personal note it’s sick to work with a brand like this, when I was building out the brand of what FC was going to look like a lot of their photography and styling was in those mood boards. Sometimes a full circle moment is really nice.

Will update the pricing calculator with them shortly, but if you’re after any pricing for projects please just get in contact directly.

How I used AI this week

All the messing around on it is starting to pay off

I use AI for everything. One of the best things I’ve done is build the pricing calculator. It’s been a super helpful tool, and gives great transparency.

But since onboarding new suppliers it’s been serious ADMIN trying to manually update the pricing structure. I’ve been working on connecting the calculator to a google sheet, so that it can update the pricing automatically. Rather than me having to go in and change them all individually.

I’ve found describing a problem and asking it how it would solve said problem has been a huge help.

Honestly figured this by using a trick I’ve figured out with AI.

I brain dumping my problems that I’m having into the AI assistant, and then ask it how it would solve them. It usually spits out functional solutions to the problem, and then you can figure out which one is going to be the most practical.

Work we’ve done lately

We had some custom coffee come through last week which is always fun!

Custom coffee is a W for corporate events

Also been putting all the new products on the new website, and getting that all dialled in. Which is taking up a heap of time!

Plus had a live event with the Low Folk Car Club, and if you have time and like sick cars take 2 mins and check out the recap video, super hard.

Thanks for reading

Damn so if you made it to the end fr much appreciated.

If you use AI I highly recommend trying that out with a problem, specifically if it’s something super time consuming. Bonus points if you just voice memo into it.

Anyways, any feedback or if there’s anything you’d like me to cover more of (merch, small business stuff, blanks, AI, etc) please just hollah. All replies more than welcome.
